At APM Massage Therapy, we practice injury prevention via improving range of motion in stressed, but undamaged tissues. In times of injury, we focus on pain management and maximizing recovery, before maximizing strength and range of motion. This is done with a strong foundation of body physiology and anatomy, as well as patient intake and what you actually do during your day, for work or otherwise.

After graduating from Grant MacEwan University’s Massage Therapy course in 2015, I have taken multiple classes with professionals Kip Petch and James Waslaski in 2017 and 2018, including the opportunity to assist James in teaching a class in 2018.

I have worked with a variety of cases in my near-decade of work from post-surgery care, to sports injuries, to various cases of arthritis and even a crushed ankle from a fall.

I utilize both the foundation I learned in school, and the more advanced methods of application that I studied with James, known as Integrated Manual Therapy, to perform my treatments. These treatments use a variety of Joint mobilization, as well as facial and musclework in a pain free manner, typically. I focus on injury prevention via mobilization of “stuck” structures, and injury rehabilitation by reduction of pain, and muscle activation.
